Located in one of Lisbon’s most iconic neighborhoods, this Chiado apartment reflects a deep respect for the historical essence of its surroundings. Sara Mendes de Almeida embraced the apartment’s architectural features, such as high ceilings and intricate moldings, as a foundation for the design. The interior blends classical influences with contemporary sophistication, resulting in a space that feels both timeless and modern.
The creative process focused on creating an atmosphere of understated luxury. A neutral color palette serves as the backdrop for carefully selected statement pieces, including custom-designed furniture and curated art. The final design strikes a delicate balance between elegance and comfort, offering an urban sanctuary in the heart of Lisbon.
